please critique the length of my newsletter

Hi

I started off doing shorter newsletters with information rleevant to those clients, now I do one longer one for everyone, please can you let me know if it is just a bit too long.

I think any length is fine as long as it is interesting and your newsletter is.  I would change the title at the top.  The term "Client Newsletter" makes me feel like I'm a generic client to you and just another number in your huge pool of clients.  I would change it to something more personal or would change it to just "newsletter".

With images disabled on many email clients, the top 33% won't be visable anyway and it becomes a very short email at that point.

Seriously test it in some clients with images disabled and see what you think.

I am trying to find the best template for those who read their e mails on their smart phones? I think ones that has columns doesn't come out great on a phone, is there any templates that you would recommend for mobiles?

I have recently become a cc partner as I have about 20 clients that I do newsletters for. they are all part of the same franchise business all over the UK, so I use one template and then make tweaks for ecah person with their own details on etc.

however each month I seem to try different templates which means me re setting up all the correct colours logos etc, so I want to find one template that I can set up just once and keep using month on month, hence the need for the question re mobiles, I need to pick the best one and stick to it. there are so many to choose from! can you help?

aggh what a good point.. do most people just use their logo and not atually the words "newsletter"...??
