Constant Contact Signup Form Generator form validation.

Hello, I;m using the Constant Contact Signup Form Generator and I was wondering if it was possible to validate the form fields with ajax or js. I have my form in a modal window and right now the form goes on to another screen which messes up the whole process, people can't get back to the form. Your help is much appreciated.

I don't find that thread to answer this question.  I have commented out the header requests at the bottom of signup/index.php (using the api), and i still get forwarded to a different page.
