Here is a question a nonprofit had in Constant Contact's live nonprofit webinar today - Nonprofit Newsletters That Engage.
What is the risk of using links in the body of your email?
I highly recommend using links in the body of your email. Not only do multiple links increase engagement, but also Constant Contact is able to track who is clicking on these links. You can use this information to spot trends and improve your upcoming emails. I understand not wanting people to be brought away from the email, but if they are reading material you linked to, they are still engaging. Additionally, the link will open up in a new window so when they close out of that additional content, they will be brought right back to your email.
