Constant Contact Tags added with CF7 form submit

Greetings, I have CF7 integrated with API to CC. And I have a list created and setup. Is there a way for when a form is submitted to add the CC tag to the user? Example: Restaurant. I have a general notifications/events etc. sign up form. And there's a wine club signup. I'd like to differentiate through tagging who belongs to what on the same list. So we can send out newsletters filtered by what tags are associated with the user. Some will only be wineclub, some general news/events, some both. Thanks. -James

Hello TTADI,

Thank you for reaching out to Constant Contact API Developer Support. My team is here to assist outside software developers with questions about building into Constant Contact's API.

Constant Contact’s V3 API does allow for tags to be added for a contact when a contact is created or updated. It doesn’t look like Contact Form 7’s Constant Contact integration offers tags as a default option. Below I’m including a link to Contact Form 7’s documentation on their Constant Contact integration, along with our V3 API documentation on contact subresources, which includes information on adding tags to contacts. Feel free to share this documentation with Contact Form 7’s support team. If they have any questions about including a tag option, they can reach out directly to our API support team at webservices@constantcontact.com.

Please note that Contact Form 7 is a 3rd party product and not built or supported by Constant Contact, so we are limited in the support we can provide, but will try to answer any questions to the best of our ability as they pertain to Constant Contact’s API endpoints and functionality.

Please have a look and let us know if you have any other questions!
