Not really, it's just that I'm doing some research about this API. Some other Email Marketing APIs do have a request limit, for example 6000 requests in a 24 hour period or 60 requests per minute or something like that, does this API has it? or it lets the servers handle all requests that they can? if it's the case, how many requests is it recommended for a user not to exceed in a period of time for this interface? Thanks for your time!
At the moment, we do not impose any usage limits in terms of total API calls etc. In other words, you are not limited to an X number of API calls per day or per week.
However, we do have mechanisms in place to limit API spikes and prevent a single user from hogging our servers in order to ensure smooth services for all API users. We also limit excessive API calls in a short amount of time for a few APIs that can be misused. For example, we limit how many bulk jobs you can submit per minute because we've had developers misusing the API and submitting thousands of requests with 1 contact in each request, when the bulk jobs are meant to be used for importing lots of contacts at once.
These limits, however, are not stringent, and anyone trying to use our services in legitimate ways should not be running into them. We are not quite ready to publish these numbers yet because these numbers change as we fine tune our services. Once we are ready to publish these numbers, you should be able to find them on this website.
