Cancel online!

Hi Constant contact. We've used you off and on now for a while. A few months ago I kept getting calls from you to sign up and now we are saddled with a $40 per month fee for a service we rarely use. As a small business owner I don't respect that. I also think its pretty awful to not include a means to cancel online but rather make customers call you. A former customer,

I'm more than a little frustrated that I can't cancel or close our account online. I'm also frustrated that your website states hours that include Saturdays, but the billing department that I need to talk to in order to cancel my account is not open on Saturdays. Now I have to wait until Monday and take another 30 minutes out of my already busy day to call you to cancel it. How much easier would it be to just allow me to do that online? Now you have a frustrated customer who will start looking at other options that aren't so cavalier with my time!

This is such a crock, I can't believe I have to phone international to cancel our email marketing! This is a scam!

I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused but appreciate your feedback. We do have you call in to make sure you know when the account will close and to make sure you have a copy of your contact information.

Going to go through the effort now of cancelling via phone. Just needed to cancel this account and open another one. But this sort of system worries me and I will be using a competitor who does not behave like this. Disappointed!!

Trying to cancel and account and having to call and talk to a rep is a hassle. I will have to consider this before opting in again if I decide to return my business.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently, cancellations, suspensions and reactivations are done via phone so our Billing Department can make sure your account is correctly updated and to prevent any incorrect charges. Please vote on this if you would like to see this implemented.

I want to cancel my account but when I click the item not the option to proceed with the cancellation.

Thank you for your feedback. At this time, the entire account cannot be cancelled online. Only additional products can be removed from your account but this doesn't disable your entire Constant Contact account. We do need you to call us to get ahold of a Billing Specialist who can process this for you and make sure you do not get any further charges on your card.
