I generated an access token and then tried "get account summary" call.

And I get back


    "error_key": "mashery.not.authorized.inactive",
    "error_message": "The Mashery account associated with this request is not active, or an invalid API key was used."


What does that mean?


Hi Daws,


It sounds like your API key either 1) wasn't included in the request--as long as you saw it in the API Key field in IO Docs, that probably wasn't the case, 2) the key hadn't populated to our database yet--it takes up to 15 minutes for that to happen, or 3) the key isn't in active status yet.


If it was #3, or you're having trouble figuring out the issue, feel free to email us at webservices@constantcontact.com with your API Key so that we can check its status and update it if necessary.

Thanks. It was <15 minutes from creating the api key to trying to use it.  I'll try again shortly.
