Product Updates: July 2019

It's been a hot month here at Constant Contact and we're not just talking about the temperature. There were a bunch of product updates for July and we're excited to share some of them with you! Here are a few highlights:

  • DKIM Key for Self-Authentication - Some of our customers choose to self-authenticate (or send out emails from their own domain). An important step is generating a DKIM key, which previously required a call to our Account Review team. Now you can generate this key from within your account, saving you time and a phone call.

  • Segments Based on Shopify Activity - We're continuing to enhance our Shopify integration by adding the ability to create segments based on your customer's Shopify activity, such as their recent orders or the amount spent in your store. Combine them with other segment criteria to send out even more defined emails.

  • New WooCommerce Integration - If you use WooCommerce with your Wordpress account, then you'll love this new integration. You can now sync contacts between your WooCommerce store and Constant Contact using a plugin and have pre-defined segments created for them. Can we get a "woo"?

Did you know that you can view new notifications in your account (although we'd love to see you here too)? Click the bell icon in the top right corner of the navigation bar.

I'd like to repeat an email (and edit if necessary without have to save it out) and send it out every 4 weeks.

As it is now, I have to create a campaign or keep copying the same email and scheduling.

If you know Campaigner (Streamsend), they have it.

Hello @MattF597. At this time, we do not have the ability to schedule recurring emails to contacts. As a workaround, you can create an automated series, copy the same email into that series, and schedule it to be sent out every four weeks

Not really. It may change a little like price changes or different suites become available on a property email. I can't stop half way and change it without the email deactivated/canceled. Just set a function to repeat email at a given time frame, like Streamsend/Campainger does. 1 email repeating. That would save a lot of server space on your end as well and logging.
