How to Copy an Autoresponder Campaign:

Administrator

Copying an Autoresponder is simple and easy.  Once you get to the Autoresponder page (Contacts > Autoresponder).

You will just need to click Action to the right of the Autoresponder you want to Copy.  Then choose Copy from the drop down list.

Once you have selected this you will get a pop up screen asking you which series you would like the Campaign copied to and then select when to send this email or choose to change it to Draft so that you can make edits.

Hello, my name is Samantha and I started working at Constant Contact in September of 2011 as a Customer Engagement Specialist. I started on the Community and Social Media Support team in March of 2014. I am now the Constant Contact Community Manager! Outside of work I am mostly spending time hanging out with my pets (1 dog and 2 cats), binge watching shows, or reading. I am always interested in learning more about our customers, how others use the Community, and how we can help to make the Community better for our members.

These instructions no longer seem correct.  The autoresponder section is in a different place now and it is not very apparent how you copy a whole sequence.

We should be able to just select a whole autoresponder series, duplicate it, and the assign it to a list.  Do you have an updated way of doing this?

Hello @Camps_for_Grownups,

Thanks for reaching out. Our interface has changed slightly since this post, in how you access Autoresponders. The directions here are similar to the way Autoresponder emails can be copied today. I apologize that at this time we do not have the ability to copy an entire series at once. But, you can open up an Autoresponder series and copy emails from another series individually at a time into your new series and assign it to a new list.

Below are some screenshots to help walk through this:

Step 1

Step 2

After you've named and selected a list for the new Autoresponder, you will have the option to copy an existing this email. Click on that, and it will bring you to a page where you can access emails from another Autoresponder series.

Step 3

Select the Autoresponder series you would like to copy from, and then the emails will drop down with an option to copy.

Step 4

After you've saved the first email, you will be brought to this page. Here you can click "Add Another" and repeat Step 3 to copy another email.
