April 11th is National Pet Day. This day, founded in 2006, "to celebrate the joy pets bring to our lives and to create public awareness about the plight of many different kinds of animals awaiting a forever home in shelters and rescues all around the globe." Source: National Pet Day Website
For many of our customers, pets are not only in their lives but are an important part of their business. For others, it could just be that your pet helps you to relieve some stress after a hard day's work. No matter how your pet fits into your work and life, there is no denying that they play a big role.
To start things off, I will share some fun facts about my 2-year-old Golden Retriever, Tucker.
I have had Tucker since he was 8 weeks old. It's been an amazing, fun-filled, and sometimes frustrating two years, but I would not trade it for anything. Since the first few days after he came home, Tucker has been my work from home buddy. He keeps me on my toes, is an amazing snuggler, provides comic relief at the best of times, and is an all-around amazing dog with just a few bad habits - like stealing remotes, napkins, paper towels (pretty much any paper good), and always being able to weasel me out of at least one bite of food. Take a look at a couple of pictures below.
Share your pet story in the comments below. All pet stories are welcome! A couple of examples to help spark some ideas for your post - share how pets are a part of your business, do you get to bring your pet to work? (I am so very jealous if you do) Share a picture of your pet in your office, love coming home to that happy smiling face? Share your view when you walk in the door. Don't forget the pictures!
