Small Business Week 2017, Celebrate with us!

Honored Contributor

National Small Business week is your time to shine!  It's a week dedicated to honoring the entrepreneurs, mom and pop shops, local business, or any small business.

A little history

National Small Business week started in 1963, making this tradition over 50 years old. The goal is to "Recognize the critical contributions of America's entrepreneurs and small business owners." Did you know that "More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about 2 our of every 3 new jobs in the U.S. each year?"

How you can participate

On our blog, we have highlighted 5 ways to participate - take a look at a couple of options below:

  1. Share your story. Participate in the #MySmallBizWhy campaign and tell us why you do what you do. For more information check out
  2. Thank your customers. Your customers help to keep your business running. Send them a quick thank you message, either via email or create a video. It's always nice to hear a sincere "Thank you!"

Tell us - how are you participating in National Small Business Week this year?
