Christopher Jan Benitez from BloggingPro shared a 30-Point Checklist to Optimize Your Blog Content Creation for you to make sure you’re on the path to success!

The checklist includes six main sections. I’ve broken them down for you below!

Identify target audience-

Find how who you want to reach with your blog. Narrow it down to age, location, gender, income and more!

Incorporate engagement strategies-

Think about using headline strategies, visual storytelling, evergreen content and other techniques to capture the attention of your audience.

Distribute to appropriate channels-

Make sure you’ve joined all the appropriate channels  and are using the tools available to build a subscriber list from your blog.

Integrate with social media marketing-

What tools do you use to connect Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social sites to your blog? Do you use a dashboard tool to make managing all your pages easier?

Track content performance-

How are you keeping track of how people respond to your blog? Make sure you’ve got Google Analytics set up to measure how your content does in meeting your KPI’s.

Use automation tools-

Make sure you are helping yourself get your content out there. Tools like Outbrain, Sprout Social and more will share your content for you once set up.
