As a Nonprofit, you probably hold quite a few functions. At these functions you can take pictures of what is going on and share them on Instagram.
What is Instagram you ask? Per Kristen Curtiss, Social Media Specialist here at Constant Contact, Intagram is "a social network that operates through a smart phone application." Instagram allows you to add filters to your image and then to share it to the Instagram community but also share to your Twitter or Facebook.
How can you as a Nonprofit, really make the most of your presence on Instagram?
Show who you are: Use images to tell the story of your Nonprofit. Tell the story of what happens behind the scenese, of your volunteers and even your donors at events.
Build awareness with hashtags: Hashtags are used on Instagram just like they are on Facebook now and Twitter.
