Lead Ads on Facebook are now for Everyone!

Lead Ads on Facebook are now for Everyone!

Have you heard the news?  Facebook has opened up Lead Ads for all businesses to use!  This is great news, it gives you an extra way to gain new contacts.  Lead ads are also easy for the user to fill out because most of their Facebook profile information is automatically populated into the ad.

Early testers of this feature used lead ads to get leads for many different reasons, like a newsletter sign up, people interested in car quotes or people interested in real estate listings.

From what I have seen it looks like the leads that you get are able to be exported into an Excel or CSV file too.

Re: Lead Ads on Facebook are now for Everyone!

Hi, Samantha!

I'm curious... are you referring the the $100/5K views ad? Or the new Facebook autoresponder ad campaign where you pay $149 per month and $250 for the start-up?

I've done both and had much better results with the cheaper option. In fact the $399 program has given me been extremely disappointing results!  In my last $100 campaign I had 5400 views and 110 clicks, which was more than double the average.

With this new $399 upfront, plus $149 per month program, I had 4000 views in the first month, an UNKNOWN number of clicks, but only 5 opt-ins to my email autoresponder!  Of those, 2 opted out within the first 2 emails and the others simply quit opening them.  And my "Marketing Specialist" is trying to tell me those are excellent results!

Additionally, there is NO training on how to optimize your ads to encourage opt-ins tot he Autoresponder, nor any info on how to design the A/R to get people to your website.  I'm not sure I have found stats on how mny clicked onmy website links, I'd ahve to go back and check. I imagine there are somewhere.

So in myopinion, this new campign is a total WASTE of good time and money!

How about you? HAve you tried it? Or is this the one you have been using?
