A recent post by AllFacebook goes into a Case Study about a retailer who found success through Facebook and their mobile fans.
The company ran a promotion that could be completed on a mobile device, by encouraging their fans/customers to pick a friend who would like their products to enter to win a free pair of socks. They reached out to their current contact base to reach more people. This is a great way to grow likes on your Facebook page, and increase revenue. If you can reach out to your customers in a way that encourages them to share, then you can reach like-minded people to hopefully grow your business with.
The company in the case study stated they saw a drastic increase in likes, with a large percentage coming from mobile devices. The company also encourages its customers to share on their Facebook wall which has helped them to “grow brand recognition and loyalty.”
