The Benefit of Partnering with Nonprofits

Doing good can give you a warm and fuzzy feeling, but did you know that partnering with nonprofits can do even more for your small business? In a classic article at American Express Open Forum, Vince Hyman lists these five benefits:

  1. Reputation and brand enhancement
  2. Positive media coverage and low-cost advertising
  3. Personal and corporate sense of well-being
  4. Product and service improvements
  5. Valuable professional development

In October 2013, Dudley & Nunez Communications was chosen from more than 8,000 small business marketing expert partners as Constant Contact’s Solution Provider of the Year—a significant milestone for our five-year-old business.

Our business has a long history of donating time and talent to nonprofits, but the award made us realize that we were now established enough to launch a formal giving back program of our own: The Dudley & Nunez Communications Giving Back Program.

The new program helps nonprofits get started with Constant Contact email marketing through free accounts, free training, and free resources.

In less than a year, we've donated thousands of dollars in time and money while helping 15 nonprofits get started with email marketing quickly and easily. At the same time, we've enhanced our company reputation and sense of well-being. It's been a win-win!

Could your small business also benefit from a nonprofit partnership?

Happy Marketing!

P.S.  Nonprofits throughout the United States may apply for the Dudley & Nunez Communications Giving Back Program. Learn more and apply online at bit.ly/givingbackprogram.

Re: The Benefit of Partnering with Nonprofits

It takes a special level of patience to work successfully with non-profit associatons and their boards.  If you develop the right systems it is very rewarding, and good for business too.
