Tips for Creating Great Visuals!

As a nonprofit, using visuals to help tell your story is a priority! Creating impactful and meaningful visuals can be costly, time consuming and seemingly impossible without the right software. Network for Good recently published “Create Great Visuals: 10 Tips and Tools for Nonprofits” to help you incorporate or improve visuals in your nonprofit!

 

10. Simple is good. Share photos of your team, places or purpose.

9.  Ask for more! Ask volunteers and others involved with your organization to take pictures and send them to you.

8.  Use a free service like PicMonkey to edit or spruce up your photos.

7.  Size your images for different social media channels. Use this Constant Contact cheat sheet for help!

6.  Don’t get confused by file names like JPEG, GIF and PNG. Here’s help!

5.  Incorporate stock images. Here’s a list of some sites to check out.

4.  Use infographics!

3.  Use a marketing tool like Canva, it’s free!
