Twitter Announces No Character Limit in Direct Messages

Today Twitter announced that they are moving to no character limit within Direct Messages. With this announcement, they have begun updating this change on the Android and iOS apps, twitter.com, twitter for MAC, and TweetDeck. Other instances will be updated over the next few weeks. This does not change the public facing Twitter. Those tweets, replies or @ mentions, are still set to the 140 character limits.

Read all about the changes over on Twitter's blog.

How will this change to Twitter Direct Messages affect you on Twitter when talking to clients/customers?
