Many people focus on increasing their Facebook likes as opposed to Twitter followers. Now, Facebook is a great place to engage with your fans but not all of them are guaranteed to see your content. On average, only 15% of your fans are going to see what you're sharing. While on Twitter, you will always show up in their twitter stream. Twitter is down at the moment. This is the second time since January that their complete service has been inaccessible. If it keeps up, it could hurt them down the line.

That stinks that Twitter was down. I noticed last night that Facebook was having issues as well. Who knows what is going on sometimes with these sites, you know!
And ever since Facebook went to https, it is much slower. Our business pages are struggling to even load anymore. That combined with such a low rate of views on Facebook and it's almost not even worth it anymore. We're now refocusing on Twitter and Pinterest.
Yes, we do but not all of them for all of our stores for reasons too much to go in to.
