Where do you recommend placing the Opt Out button - underneath the Opt In button, or at the end of the e-newsletter?
I recommend including a way for people to unsubscribe at both the top and the bottom of your email. It’s really important to give your audience a clear, visible way to unsubscribe. If you don’t then your subscribers may instead click the spam button so they no longer get your emails. That spam compliant can hurt your deliverability – with 1 complaint in 1000 emails sent you can begin getting blocked. If you are using Constant Contact, we automatically include an unsubscribe button at the bottom of all of your emails. Turn on the permission reminder (where your subject line is), to include an unsubscribe link at the top of your email.
