Looking for feedback on Newsletter - Is it too negative?

I have been told this approach for our newsletter is to negative, attacking the vendor too much. I think its a compelling newsworthy story - feedback needed

Re: Looking for feedback on Newsletter - Is it too negative?

Hi John,

I think your newsletter is fine. It is factual (or so it seems) and provides information for people wronged by Allscripts. You are not subjectively saying they are bad, just stating the problem, inspiring action, and letting people know how to deal with the problem.

Hope this helps.

I just found this feature and hope to use it for my newsletter when it's done.

Re: Looking for feedback on Newsletter - Is it too negative?

Hi John,

After reading the newsletter I have to agree with Marianne. There's a difference between providing factual information that may be precieved  as negative by some however its not slander nor defamation of character.

One way to soften the message is to include a paragraph "prepping" the reader by stating something along the lines of "We are providing this information because we feel that people have been taken advantage of. We are making this information available to you so you can make a decision whether you want to include yourself and become a co-plaintiff".
