Our company sells rubber seals and o-rings to companies in aerospace, military, construction, electronic, etc. industries. I tried to make the newsletter look as much like our website (www.flaseal.com) as possible, using the same color scheme and background image. This is our first newsletter and I hope to have more content next month, but please give me your thoughts on how it can be improved. Thank you!
Hello Vanessa - The link at the bottom of your request did not work, Please send me the email newsletter to MD@dmcm.net. I have extensive experience in the B2B market. If you need more information, please visit my web site or blog.
I'll look for it.
Do you have the archive link or the social media sharing link for your newsletter? If you do, you can post that in here and then others can also take a look at your email!
I followed the directions for the social media link, and at first it worked, but maybe it's timed out or something? I don't have the archive feature and my computer won't do a print screen, so this is my only option. I'll try it again.
Ok, let's try this again:
Hello Vanessa - I like the consistent color selection and theme that is consistent with your web site.
Engineers love a lot of information and to work with a company who can help them with their project solutions. It eventually leads to more business.
I would recommend your newsletter place a focus on solutions. There are quite a few links back to your web site, so a visitor may lose his place and become a victim of information overload. Limit the links for a continuation of a solution or a specific product discussed in the solution. Then highlight the links in a different color so they can stand out.
A web site is there to inform as much as possible about the company, or as some people call them, “electronic brochures.” The newsletter should educate and with some trial and error testing of the newsletter content, look to balance how the two can meet your goals.
The newsletter is a great tool to build better and more business relationships. It can open an opportunity for your company to connect with each reader. A newsletter helps to keep the lines of communication open, so when there is a need to purchase, especially in the B2B world, they can think of your company.
For your inaugural issue it was a job well done. As you move forward, and connect with readers, changes will occur to meet their needs, you’ll learn what they value from you, and how your company can provide for them.
Thanks for the opportunity. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your reply. I will work on having more focused linking and solution-based content for next month. Having the links stand out more is something that should be easy to do. Thank you for taking the time to help.
