API v2 autoresponder not sending email when client added

I have an autoresponder setup to send out an email when a new contact is added to the list. When I add a client manually it works just great. When I use the API V2 to do it it adds it to the list but it contact isn't sent the email from the autoresponder.

There are a variety of factors involved in the sending of an automated email. Please email webservices@constantcontact.com with your Constant Contact username, and details such as:

  • email address being added
  • date and timeframe you added the contacts
  • list they were added to
  • which automated email campaign you expect to be sent to them

With that information we can dig into the details on why your contacts specifically may not have been sent the automated email.
