When I add or update a contact with the API, should it show up in my Constant Contact account immediately, or is there a delay? The reason I ask is that I seem to be running into either delays or failed requests. Sometimes the contact seems to be added immediately, and other times it seems to take awhile.
That is normal behavior. Accounts do cache information in such a way that it can take several minutes for a contact update or addition to show up in the account when viewed through our user interface.
