Hey all,
I have a client who would like to use our services for the following:
Would it be possible through CC?
We are wanting to handle our “transactional" emails through Constant Contact.
Here's how it works:
We do all this at SendGrid. Can Constant Contact Handle this?
And yes it is his own App, not a third party
If anyone will help I would appreciate it!

Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Constant Contact API Support.
Would you be sending individual emails with different content to single contacts on a transactional schedule, or will you be sending a campaign to a large group of people at a set time?
Using Constant Contact to send transactional emails would lead to a large amount of clutter within your Constant Contact account. When sending an email campaign with us, you select a list of contacts to send to. In order to complete this you would end up creating a new list of just one contact each time you generate and send an email. Based on the volume of emails you plan on sending, this is not going to be a viable option for you. While Constant Contact is a great marketing tool for sending planned messaging, we are probably not the best choice for sending these types of transactional emails.
If you are instead looking to send the same campaign on a daily basis to a list of contacts that changes each day, that can definitely be done within Constant Contact.

Hey David,
It will be the same email, the content is not going to change, the only thing that will happen is the auto-filling of name, account, etc.
With that being said, will it be easily done with the content not changing?
Hello,
Generally speaking if you are planning on sending one email out with the same content and are only using contact details for dynamic content, that is possible with Constant Contact.
Sincerely,
