Extraneous numbers in xml

Extraneous numbers in xml

I'm doing a GET on  https://api.constantcontact.com/ws/customers/{username}/contacts

and the returned XML has what a appears to be a hex number embedded in various places in the XML. For example:

    <link href="/ws/customers/obarshay/contacts/24243" rel="edi

t" />

It's always 1ff8 except for the last one. In this case:

      <name>Constant Contact</name>

Any idea what's causing this? It cause the XML parser to fail and I only get partial results. Thanks.

Any feedback on this?

We took a look internally at this and were unable to replicate this error.  What language are you using when you receive these numbers?  Can you replicate this using a test environment such as a REST Debugging Client?  You can find one to test in here: http://developer.constantcontact.com/doc/restclient

If you can replicate this in the REST client, we'd like you to follow up with us directly via email so that we can get your account information.  If this is a code/language issue, we can also take a look at the code.  Send us an email to our webservices support team
