I am unable to get the following code to Track the Click of the "subscriberData" filed inserted into a text box.
I have tried numerous versions with the Track="on" or "True" scripts in the FAQs..
I am hoping someone can help me out.
This is the code from the Text Block I used to insert the personal data link too.
<table style="display: table;" id="textEdit" border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tbody>
<tr>
<td styleclass=" style_MainText style_Content" style="padding: 8px 15px 9px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; color: #000000;" align="left" valign="top"><var id="block_LETTER.BLOCK4.subscriberData" nametype="SUBSCRIBER.CUSTOM.IMAGE_LINK">Contact Image Link</var><br></td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
The above code places a clickable image at the top of the email template.
The >Contact Image Link< points to a subscriber data filed, which in turn is a hyperlink to an image that when clicks logs you automatically into our web site.
That subscriber data filed cotains this code:
<a href="http://www.realestatece.com/cgi-bin/z_course.pl?auth_code=X0X0X0&mode=login"><img src="http://ih.constantcontact.com/fs188/1118683452378/img/30.jpg"></a>
So I am try to get the >Contact Image Link< (which is what is displayed on the screen) to track in constant contact.
All help appreciated.
Hi Shelby,
Unfortunately, you cannot track clicks on dynamically generated links. You have to choose between having tracking data available for a static link, or having a dynamic link without being able to track clicks within the campaign statistics.
