How do you change API once you have key?

Just changed over to constanct contact from another service. I have sign up page on my webisite that went directly to the other service. I want to keep my website layout and format. I understand if I do, I need to have my web guy change the API code that I just created from the constant contact site and it will automatically add to your list?

Re: How do you change API once you have key?

Hello,

I am not sure what type of API service you were using in your original sign up box.  However, our service uses REST API that requires you to send contact information, in the form of XML, over to our contacts URI.  This requires a server side scripting language that make HTTPS calls to the URI.

If you do not have access to a developer that can do this, you might also want to try out our Constant Contact Signup Form generator, which will use PHP to generate a sign up form for you.  You can then modify the form to match your website.

If you would like more information about how our API works, you can take a look at our sample code here.

If you have any questions please let me know.
