How to see individual contact campaign results

Hello,

Newbie question.

I'm trying to see individual contact campaign results, such as, be able to query Account = "Ford", and see all the Contacts at Ford and each contact's email activity, i.e., opens, clicks, etc.

I have 5 lists and 5 campaigns.

Is there a utility or appliction someone has built to do this simple task?  I would think many people would be looking for this feature.

Use Case: I send out 100,000 emails every Tuesday for 6 weeks using 5 lists and 5 campaigns.  Every night a serivce delivers to me a report which shows me which Accounts have visited the site.  In this example lets use Ford Motor Company.  I would like one place to query "Ford" and see all the Contacts I have at Ford and which Contacts Opened any one of the emails and which Contact Cliecked on any one of the emails.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Re: How to see individual contact campaign results

Hello Sasha,

Thank you for reaching out to the API Support team here at Constant Contact.

This does sound like something that is possible to do with our API. You can call upon the API for all contacts within a list, as well as the reporting details of sent email campaigns. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any open applications available that provide the specific information you are looking for, so something like this would likely require you to have a developer create something custom for you.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Re: How to see individual contact campaign results

Hello David,

What if I integrate ConstantContact with my Salesforce account with the application on the Appexchage?

Would the CC campaign activity (clicks most importantly) flow back from CC to SF?

I wish I could find a screenshot of of SF with CC campaign activity to look at.

Here is a screenshot of the fields that show up when using our Salesforce integration.

Re: How to see individual contact campaign results

Hello Jimmy,

Thank you. One step closer.  I have it installed and found a contact I know had opened and clicked.

3 clicks.png

Now, in Salesforce I need to be able to search for Account = "Ford Motor Company" and have it list all my Contacts to include the '# Clicks'.

Or, something like that.  Basically, need to search for Account and see of the hundreds of Contacts, which ones clicked.

I tried customizing a Report, but the ConstantContact Campaign fields don't appear to be available to filter or be able to be displayed in a report.

I wonder if perhaps I need to somehow allow/setup/configure the ConstantContact Campaign fields to be available within the Reports interface?

Any help grateful.

Kind regards,

Sasha

Re: How to see individual contact campaign results

Hi Sasha,

I'm not too familiar with the Salesforce developer side of things; however I think what you are looking to do would require some custom developement within Salesforce.

Our integration brings that reporting data in and displays it in that Visual Force page; however I do not think it can be searched/sorted with the way it is currently stored in Salesforce. Based on a very quick glance at the SalesForce development website it appears that what you want to do can be done, but our integration is not set up to do that.

We have plans on making an updated SalesForces integration; however there is no eta. on that at this point. I will make sure this is something we look at, but if you need this now you may need to look in to developing it on your side of things.
