Re: How to write a webhook url POST to import unBounce form fields

This is what I have now and unBounce does not accept this as a valid url:

https://visitor2.constantcontact.com/api/signup?ca=xxxxx&email=xxxx@cc-accountemail.com&first_name=c... is your role at the Association

unBounce does not accept any code past:

https://visitor2.constantcontact.com/api/signup?ca=xxxxx&email=xxxx@cc-accountemail.com&first_name=c...

Re: How to write a webhook url POST to import unBounce form fields

Hello,

Looking at the URLs, unbounce may be rejecting it because the first_name parameter is being doubled. It could also have something to do with the length of the URL, or possible something about some characters needing to be encoded. Unfortunately I do not know the rules that Unbounce uses to validate these URLs, so my best suggestion would be to check in with their team about why it won't accept the URL.

Sincerely,

Re: How to write a webhook url POST to import unBounce form fields

OK, I will.

In the API doc it shows this:

https://visitor2.constantcontact.com/api/signup?ca=xxxxx&email=example@madeupdomain.com&first_name=J...

Does this mean you have to hard code the constant contact account email and first name in order for the api to work?

or is this example just a place holder.

For my url, I should only have an open value for email and firstname?

Re: How to write a webhook url POST to import unBounce form fields

Hi,

That email and first name you see in the URL are examples, not where any Constant Contact account information goes. Those values are where you put the new subscriber's email address and name.

The value that is account-specific is the "ca" value. That tells us what account to send the contacts into.
