I want to have my current week's eNews showing on my web site embeded

How could I get my current weekly eNews to post/embed on my site - along with an archive list of previous weekly eNews - we have a ton of content in there. I want to utilize this for traffic. And in a perfect world each week it would change and flow into the archive list by date, most current on top.

Re: I want to have my current week's eNews showing on my web site embeded

Hi,

If you want to have a page with links to your previous emails on your website, you could use our archive feature.  If you want to specify your own webpage to post content, and you're using your own custom html campaigns, you could GET the  campaign through our API and pull the EmailContent node contents and repurpose the content (push it to your website on your side).  More simply, when you generate the email content, you could put the content both into your email and website, through programmatic means or manually.

I'm not aware of any integrations that are available to do this for you, since every website configuration is so different and we don't have access to push content to third party websites.  Unfortunately, if you're using our templates, we don't have a way to provide the contents of the email through the API.

In a similar situation, I believe one company used the archive URL for each email they sent, took the html from the archive link, then modified and repurposed the contents on their website.  That is a fair amount of coding work.

We are using the archive page feature but it stays the same unless we go in and update it. What is API and where do I find it? We are using joomla for our site so I will have to contact our programmer to let him know about this.

An application programming interface (API) is what developers use to program custom integrations to us.  All of the details about it are found at developer.constantcontact.com--you can give your developer that web address to find the details they need.
