Is there a way to create a "test contact" that is deletable?

Is there a way to create a "test contact" that is deletable?

While I build my interface I will want to test it by posting "dummy" contacts. From what I understand, there is no way to delete a contact. Is there a special kind of "test" contact that can be posted that is deletable? My concern is that I will end up having several dummy contacts that I cannot delete. Thank you.

removing contacts

Hello Doug,

Unfortunately due to compliance reasons we do never let any contacts be completely removed from the account. However, if you have dummy contacts added for testing purposes, either removing them to the Removed list, or the Do Not Mail list, will remove them from the active total in your account that is used for billing.

Do Not Mail is a more permanent remove than putting them in the removed list, and that might be the solution that you are looking for. Keep in mind that when they go on Do Not Mail, they are not able to come back out. Removing them to the removed list, they can be re-added if needed again in the future.
