If you have a look at http://www.parkslopecc.com/newslettersignup.asp you will see an email newsletter signup form. Currently, this page does a post to another .asp (asp "classic") page, not viewable to a user, which then inserts first name, last name, and email address into an sql database. It also displays a welcome message page, sends a welcome email, and an issue of the newsletter.
The newsletter software is something I purchased, and then modified. I'm interested in trying Constant Contact to see if I get better tracking results.
Seems like it ought to be a slam dunk to create a post to a constant contact server, instead of doing an SQL insert, but I don't know how to do this. I don't know the URL, and I don't know how to use the key and secret (active) which I received today.
Can anyone help me with this seemingly easy task????
We don't have any examples right now using Classic API developed by Constant Contact, but another developer was kind enough to post a sample awhile back. You can view his post here: http://community.constantcontact.com/t5/Developer-Support-ask-questions/Sample-ASP-Code/m-p/20141/hi...
Hope this helps!
