I would like to set up a .net console application to be run once an hour as an unattended service which will pull down information on undevliverable emails, requests to be removed from the list, etc. and insert it into our database. Given this, I can't see how I would set up a redirect URI. What should I do in this case? Thanks.
It sounds like you are writing an integration that only needs to be set up for yourself to use, and not a multi-account configuration. If that's the case, I'd recommend just using a dummy website value for that (http://mydomain.com is a common one) and using our Access Code generator to create a permanent access code. This will let you develop the integraion without ever having to set up OAuth 2.0.
I tried doing this and running the application, but I get the following error: The Mashery account associated with this request is not active, or an invalid API key was used. I'm not clear on how to set up a Mashery account, so I may have done this incorrectly. Could someone give me step by step instructions on setting up an API key and a Mashery account? Thank you.
You can find the full step by step instructions here on our Developer Portal: http://developer.constantcontact.com/get-started.html
If you can log into our Mashery Portal (http://constantcontact.mashery.com), you have already created your Mashery account. You'll just need to set up a new application there, which will give you an API key and all related information. Then you can start making calls, using the wrapper libraries and working on your integration.
