Hello all - our development team is working on an integration with a CRM - is the publicly available API ("...mashery...") appropriate for production, or is it only intended for development purposes?

Mashery is the tool that Constant Contact uses as a developer portal for our API. You would use it to create a developer account and generate API Keys that are able to be used with our API in production. We also provide a tool on the Mashery site for testing our API (https://constantcontact.mashery.com/io-docs), which is useful for learning how to craft calls to our API as well as see how the responses are returned without the need for a REST client.
