What happens if the 4 calls per second to the API is exceeded?

I couldn't find a search option on this forum.

I have a simple question.

What happens if the 4 calls per second allowed by the API is exceeded by my application?

Does it ignore calls? Does it queue them?

Understanding what happens is critical to the design of my application (do I need to queue them on my side, or will ConstantContact queue them for me).

Thanks.

P.S. Once inside a thread, the search option appears. I searched this topic and found no threads.

Hi Michele,

Any calls that exceed the 4 per second are ignored and not put into a queue. A message is also sent to the email address on record for that API key with Mashery.
