not a valid From email address when trying to crate campaign

not a valid From email address when trying to crate campaign

 I searched and searched but nothing came up.


I am trying to make a campaign and have gotten stuck with this error "Error 400: not a valid From email address"


I have both the from and reply email elements as per the documentation. I have redacted the account and email info:

the email and id match what is listed in my account settings. im at a complete loss of what i am doing wrong. I have read the API documentation for creating a campaign at least 10 times.

Invalid from email address

Hello,



The From and ReplyTo email addresses have to be valid confirmed email addresses. You can get a list of your valid confirmed email address id's by doing a GET on the Account Settings Email Collection. You would then take one of the verified contact id's and put that in the FromEmail node.



Let me know if you are still getting the error after doing that.

Emails are validated. still no luck.

 Thanks for responding. I assume email validation is done int the "my settings" -> "verify address" area. both emails show as validated and i have tried creating a campaign with both. i have tried using ids 1 and 2.  those ids work and generate both the FromEmail and ReplyToEmail elements in my post method. However, neither address id 1 or 2 are able to get past the error.

 I sent this in Friday morning. How long does it usually take for them to respond?


Edit: ok they just responded with a simple answer that i should have noticed sooner. My mistake was leaving the settings protion of the url out in my email elements id attribute
