When using and clicking on the "Like us on Facebook" or "Like me on Facebook" social media icon in email campaigns, the landing page results in the actual company's Facebook page where the recipient then has to sign into Facebook and then manually "Like" the business or person using the feature/button on the company's/person's page or profile. Naturally, when the recipient reads "Like us on Facebook" and clicks on the button/icon, they assume they just liked the page. Instead of doing this, it is suggested that when a recipient clicks on the "Like us on Facebook" or "Like me on Facebook" social media icon in the Constant Contact email, it should automatically "Like" that business page or person's profile. This change would help reduce the number of clicks for the recipient and reduce any frustration they may have with it. This feature is seen throughout other websites and other email campaign software. Thanks!
