ability to add a forward to friend in emails

I created an email using card/announcement and when I tried to add "forward to a friend", "join my mailing list" and permission reminder" I was not able. I would like to have the ability to use these functions in future emails that I create.

The good news is we have received word from our engineers that feature is now available in our cross device templates under the social share block. Unfortunately, I spent a long time rebuilding a template in the new editor, assuming it would not only carry all the current features, but would be smoother and cleaner. The big mistake was not checking first, as not only am I not able to "forward to a friend" (which, by the way I have posted everywhere in the community, our best sellers of homes to their friends, how they could just click to share), but also missing anchor tags, table of contents, and no print preview for my company approval. Very disappointed and will be looking to make a change.

We have a very senior board member who continually gets unsubscribed because she forwards our emails to her friends. Those people unknowingly click unsubscribe thinking that will take THEM off the list, but it takes HER off the list. I just called in to your customer service number to ask how to at least get the "Forward to a Friend" option in the footer, only to learn that it was removed for the version we are using and being revamped because of problems. On top of that, the young man that I spoke to was not at all friendly or professional in the way he answered my questions. His ultimate answer when I asked when the new feature would be rolled out was "No idea."

Another request for Forward to a Friend. I've been going crazy trying to find the setting for it because I remembered it being a feature. Frustrating!

I would also like to request the "Forward to a Friend" button for emails in the 3rd generation editor.  Especially since other email clients (such as Outlook or Gmail), tend to have issues with forwarding Constant Contact emails (i.e. the background color of text boxes overflows, the spacing between content is off, etc).  Being able to have the button (or link) would help immensely in keeping emails looking the way we intend them to look, and is especially helpful in getting those who are less technology literate to share what's been sent to them (Not everyone uses Facebook, Twitter, or other social media sites.  But if they're receiving an email, chances are, they can send the email onto their friends if they like the content).

Be careful what you ask for. That other company whose name was in your post earlier but appears to have been deleted now, does NOT offer the option that Constant Contact used to. Their "forward to a friend" button just links to the web page where the email is archived, whereas the option offered by Constant Contact in the 2nd generation editor actually forwarded the email itself, with no requirement for the recipient to click a link to view it.


This is a real problem and the reason out church is leaving CC and headed to .
