Okay here is something I cannot understand...
If a company that offers their email marketing service for so so little amount of money... can do this (mail chimp) why in the world is it taking Constant Contact so long to figure this out?? I mean seriously!
I left Constant Contact for this very reason! Thought I would come back after ... I dont even know how long to see if you all had figured this out only because I miss the events marketing...
Seriously people figure this out already! Or just tell us the truth if you are really even going to do this!!
this is one of the most important features for email marketing.

Unfortunately, I have no new news on this. This is still under review and not on our near term road map. I wish I had better news for everyone that has posted in this thread but at this time there is nothing new to report.
I continue to pass on each and every member's feedback regarding this. Once we have more to report, we will immediately update this thread.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause, but please keep the feedback coming and we will continue to bring attention to this.

Based on my experience with this request. Its not going to get done.
If its a show stopper then CTCT isn't the product for you.

Are you guys for real that this still isn't available? From the look of the forums this has been requested for a number of years.
Much less sophisticated products have this feature.
Can you please at least advise a date window by when this will be addressed?
Otherwise it looks like I need to look elsewhere.

This is a much needed basic functionality for a newsletter service and is why I will be cancelling and changing to a "real" newletter service. Since this has been asked for for years, apparently Constant Contact doesn't care nor listen to their customers. What a shame.

Dear Constant Contact,
We have been subscribers to your service since 2009 and waiting for this feature since then. Just wanted to let you know that we will canceling our subscription for a email marketing service that provides this feature.

Any further forward on a date for this? This seems to have been an issue for a number of years and not progressing very far at all. Having to manual move subscribers between lists is not the way forward.

Just signed up for another email provider to do my autoresponders and will be moving the rest of my account there in the VERY near future. This feature should have been added a long time ago...
