Re: Invalid URL

Hi Andy!

When looking over your coding, I found a section that states the following:

<TD ROWSPAN=2>
<A HREF="ddddd">
<IMG src="http://whoartnow.co.uk/images/News/newart/ContactShee--71_06.gif" WIDTH=8 HEIGHT=577 BORDER=0 ALT=""></A>

That URL is "ddddd". You'll want to remove that or update it to a URL and then you shouldnt receive that error anymore.

Hope that helps!

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem uploading blog content to my emails. It says invalid URL when I give it my feed location.

I've called support and they've told me a few different solutions, but none of them have worked. Is there possibly something in the code causing this problem?

Thanks for any help!

Dan

Re: Invalid URL

I am having the same problem copying image URL into my E-shot. When I go to copy the URL address across, I get an error message "The URL is not valid."

Any clues on what to do?

Re: Invalid URL

Hi NekolinaG

Thanks for posting, I am sorry to hear of this frustration. What browser are you working in when this happens?

We've had a few reports of this from early this morning but it looks like they have since been resolved. Can you please try inserting again for me?

Re: Invalid URL

I am facing the same issue as Nekolina. I have been trying for over 3 hours now but every time I try to change the images, it says 'That image URL is not valid. Give it another shot.'

Please advise. Our organisation needs to send out newsletters regulary on Mondays and this is a huge problem!

Re: Invalid URL

Hi Khabar!

I'm so sorry that you are struggling with this Invalid URL as well...Usually what causes this is people try and use a URL that has http://website.com/image.png for example.

This type of URL will not work when trying to insert. The URL needs to be inserted as "http://www.website.com/image.png" It absolutely needs to have the "http://" and the "www." Also, since you are trying to insert an Image URL, it needs to end in .png, .gif, .jpg. Sometimes people will try to insert a picture with it ending in .html. This will not work. It needs to end in an image file type.

If taking my suggestions does not work, please let me know the image URL you are trying to use so that I may try and replicate the issue on our end. Thank you so much!

Re: Invalid URL

Thanks for a prompt response Melissa! The issue just sorted itself out this morning and the same links I was trying to work with, worked instantly.
