Manually Decline Registrants

While running an event, ever had someone respond to your invite telling you they are not interested in coming? There is a great way to manually decline a registrant within your Constant Contact account.




  1. After logging into Constant Contact, click EventSpot > My Events.
  2. Click the name of the event from the list that displays.
  3. On the Event Details page, go to the Track Registration section and click "Manually decline someone".
    The decline page displays. This is a modified version of the page that people get when they click the "I can't make it" link on your event invitations.
  4. In the text box, enter the email address for the person whose invitation you wish to decline.
  5. You can also select the reason for the decline and additional comments in the box provided.
  6. Click Decline.
    When you go to the event details page, you will find this person and the information you entered listed under the Decline tab.
