I have an event that I pulled a report on today (CSV File) and the State information is not populating. This is a required field in registration, so everyone would have to have entered this. Is there an issue with the reporting?
In fact, there is actually an issue with this currently that we are working to resolve. When the state name is abbreviated, that information will not be exported when exporting to a CSV. I am going to open a case for you for this and have a technician look into it and you will be contacted when there is a solution to this. I apologize for the confusion. It looks we contacted you from an older account that is now expired. This account has the incorrect email address on it.
Unfortunately we don't have an update on this issue. If the state name in the Contact detail is abbreviated the registrant details will export with this data blank. We're still looking for the best way to resolve it and I am happy to make sure you are notified when it's fixed. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
How can the abbreviation be entered when it is a drop down menu of the full state names? This is a Constant Contact preset question.
I apologize for any confusion. If a contact already in your account has their state listed as an abbreviation, it doesn't matter what state they choose from the drop down when registering for an Event. Our system views the contact's details information as primary and overlooks what they selected in the dropdown. Our Engineers are working on this as this should not be happening.
I do see that you have an open case with our Specialists who are going to follow up with you when this is resolved.

I won't bore you details, but this was an issue between our event tool and the contact mgmt functionality. Our developers worked out a fix and it should be all set in the next week or so.
