I recently became aware that the link I have been using in my emails to the event info does not show up correctly (at all) when receiving the message on an iphone, etc. Can anyone help me with this?
I tested this on my iPhone and had no issues.
Do we have your permission to go into your account and test this? Can you let us know what event this is and what is not displaying correctly?
yes you have permission. It is the August event. When you click on the link it immediately takes you to the registration page, not the event page with all the info.
Thank you for giving us permission to test this. I have added 2 of my email addresses to your General Interest list and resent the July -August 2012 Scrap-a-way email to myself. I'm going to test this on my iPhone and will report back when I have the results.
I just followed up on this and I had the same thing happen. It takes me directly to the registration when I click on "Get More Information". So I then spoke with my specialists who advised that this is functioning as designed. When you view on mobile, we do not have coding set up to take you to the Homepage. I apologize for any inconvenience. I have submitted to our team that this is something that you're interested in having as a feature enhancement to our Event Marketing product.
So, that is a big problem for me since most people view emails on their mobiloe device now. How can I work around this?
So I looked into this a little bit further. If you could direct them on the invitation if they're viewing via mobile to click "Get More Information" and then scroll down and click "Desktop View", they can then see the Homepage.
That is the best workaround I have. Thank you.
OK. I am very surprised that CC does not have this technology since mobile devices are so popular. Very very disappointing.
I see this issue was reported a year ago. And it hasn't yet been fixed. When will people be directed to the event landing page on their mobile devices as opposed to a registration page. Constant contact shoudl work on the current limitations as opposed to providing new enhancements
