We're a new advocacy nonprofit aspiring to sign up thousands of supporters for our campaigns and petition drives. The template sign-up forms on CTCT does not quite meet our ideal requirements, even with the slight (very limited) modification done by tech support at CTCT. QUESTION: will a customized landing page with the required fields work for us? - will it be automatically integrated with the database we are creating? - and, will we get the analytics that we expect from CTCT?

Between the default contact fields and what you can add as custom fields, what contact information fields are missing from the coded and landing page sign up forms?
If you're using any of our forms, then you'd need to set up a list for the contacts to go into. So yes, any signups should automatically be brought over into your CTCT account. If you're building your own sign up forms and database outside of our system, then you'd want to speak with our Developer / Web Services Support on working with the API. You can reach their support through their main website, or through the Developer Board here in the Community.
If you use all the forms created by us, then the analytics will show up. If you're developing your own signup form and integrations outside of us, then that may complicate things and would be a better question for the Web Services team to address.
