We have a newsletter for people in our industry we send out once a week, on a Friday.
Up until the end of November the open rates were consistently in the 22%-25%. After that, they dropped to around 7%-8% and have stayed there.
It's very weird that this drop happened so suddenly and hasn't recovered. Any ideas what the issue might be?

I agree, getting in touch with our delivery team will likely be the best course of action. Your emails have been nothing but consistent, so I suspect some sort of spam/junk filtering is taking place. The tricky thing might be identifying whether that is content related or related to something like sending reputation. Sending a test email to yourself (especially if you use a big email client like Gmail) can help in seeing if the email lands in the junk folder or the Inbox/Promotions folder. If it does, you could try sending a blank copy of the email and if that one lands in the inbox then it should be a clue that something in the content of the email is triggering a content filter. If the blank copy still lands in the junk folder then we will likely need to see if there is anything we can do to improve sending reputation including checking your email authentication settings or reviewing some other best practices with our delivery team.
