16379 excludes certain style when copying and pasting.

Hi,

In the new editor I am still not able to copy and paste preformatted material from Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or my email program. I was able to do this in the previous editor now I have hundreds of documents already prepared that would need to be reformatted in the body of text box in the new editor. It seems to me that this shouldn't be a problem to fix and I do not find it best to send PDF files to my email subscribers. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The system will generally attempt to auto-strip formatting from pasted text, because in the past pasted text would regularly cause formatting issues from carried-over elements. This was also an issue in the previous editor. Our engineers are working on ways to make this functionality more nuanced in only stripping potentially problematic formatting from pasted text. The active service request related to your issue has already been tracked in your previous reachouts to support. If and when the engineers have an update to this request, they will notify you.

In the meantime, it would likely be simpler and more streamlined to type and format the text for your email within the builder first. Then, if you need to apply that to your website or other places, you can copy-paste from there.
