Hello @karljeffery ,

I'm looking at your latest Subject AB email, and everything is showing the test as having completed normally. Can you elaborate on what you're seeing that would indicate it reset?

Hi the body of my e-mail got chopped off somehow,

What happened was - I made my e-mail, was ready to send it, then thought I would try A/B subject lines.  Rather than send 20% to A and 20% to B and the rest to the winner, I decided to send 50% to A and 50% to B. The message was fairly urgent (for a webinar in a week's time) and I just wanted to know if a different subject line made any difference.

First the system gave me an error message, which I thought was because it didn't like the 50/50, so I changed it to 48/48 with 4 per cent going to the 'winner' in 6 hours.

But when the message was sent, I couldn't understand why it had only gone to half the list .. but then noticeed that the 48/48/4 split had somehow gone back to your default of 20/20/60.

(The rest was sent in 6 hours, so it wasn't too much of a problem - good that it didn't go to your default of 6 days!)

Thanks

Cheers Karl

Subject AB tests can only go up to a max of 48 hours and a min of 6 hours, so fortunately it shouldn't ever default to that long of a delay before the winner is sent out to the rest.

Regarding the issue itself, do you remember the exact wording of the error message you were given? If a list of contacts hasn't been selected yet when setting up the Subject AB it may cause the error to remain indefinitely unless Subject AB is turned off and back on again. Did you save and exit the scheduling screen at any point, or refresh it prior to scheduling at all? Has this error occurred for you at all before?
