Add a border around your email template

When I go to Design tab, mine only has the option to choose Backgrounds, not Backgrounds and Borders as the instructions read. How do I get Borders added to my design tab?

Hello @CelesteW89 ,

That article is referencing the Cross-Device/Platform Editor (CPE) email builder. Your latest draft is using the older 3ge email builder, which means that some functionalities will be different from the CPE that's standard for accounts these days. 

3ge templates don't have an option to add borders, they either already had a border built-in or they didn't. If you'd like control over your email's borders, I'd recommend creating a new email in the CPE. If you know how to HTML code, you could also utilize our custom code editor.
