Adding emails back - when they never unsubscribed

I am always trying to find the best way to add people back in to constant contact.  They email stating they are no longer receiving emails from me, then I go to add them, see they have unsubscribed, they say that they didn't, so when you add them back in, it says "awaiting confirmation"  when I email them saying you should be getting an email from constant contact to be added back, they say they never get anything?  This is really frustrating.  How do we get passed this?

I'm sorry for the issue you are encountering with adding your unsubscribes back. I know it's important for this process to be smooth and simple. Can you send us an email at social_support(at)constantcontact(dot)com with some examples of the contacts experiencing this, as well as your username and reference to this post? When I have the information I will take a look and get you some resolution.
